To achieve maximum offloading speeds, Tent bypasses standard macOS storage caching and interacts directly with your Mac’s physical memory and connected drive controllers. Because Apple's App Store guidelines strictly prohibit applications from using this type of low-level hardware access and un-sandboxed volume management, Tent must be distributed independently.

This script automates the secure download of the app and handles the necessary macOS quarantine adjustments so Tent just works right away.
